Peony Cardigan Pattern

This chunky and cropped knit cardigan can be worked up in about a week and is relatively easy for an intermediate level knitter or a beginner with some knowledge of knitting basics. It is made up of two front panels, one back panel, two sleeve panels and a neckline that is knit by picking up stitches along the edge of the cardigan body.

The pattern has an oversized, slouchy fit and includes sizes XS/S, M/L and XL/2XL. The sample is knit in size M/L.

The Seersucker Stitch will be used throughout for this pattern and the techniques you will need to know are knit, purl, 1x1 rib, knit together, cast on and cast off. However, if you are a beginner looking for a challenge, instructional photos are included throughout and helpful videos are listed at the end of the pattern.
