April's Vest - Knitting Pattern
OVERVIEW:
Language - English
Level - Beginner
Techniques used - knit, purl, 1x1 rib, cast on, cast off, k2tog and ssk1. Knit up in 2 panels, seamed together and completed with a neckline and armholes that are knit along the edge of the vest.

SIZING:
The pattern includes sizes XS to 5XL and the sample is knit in size M
Size modelled in reference photos - M

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Yarn: Wool and the Gang - Feeling Good Yarn (50g / 130m per ball. 70% Baby Alpaca, 7% Merino, 23% Nylon)
Or a yarn that is similar in length and weight and is knit with 6-7mm needles
Approximate yarn balls required for each size:
XS - 4, S - 4, M - 5, L - 5, XL - 6, 2XL - 7, 3XL - 7, 4XL - 8, 5XL - 8

TOOLS REQUIRED:
6.5mm (US10.5) single-point knitting needles
(If you have size 6 or 7 needles at home, it should also work fine, just make sure to match the gauge to the one below)
5mm (US8) circular knitting needles (suggested length 80cm) Stitch holder
Approx. 5mm crochet hook or tapestry needle

TENSION SWATCH
10cmX10cm = approx. 16 stitches and 19.5 rows, knit in stockinette stitch with 6.5mm needles.
